Bioenvironmental Engineering

The Bioenvironmental Engineering element provides industrial hygiene and radiation protection surveillance for Air Force-operated industrial shops on JBLM. The office evaluates such hazards as noise, industrial chemical use, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, biological hazards, ergonomics, and indoor air quality. Bioenvironmental engineering professionals strive to ensure commanders and supervisors provide their workers with a safe and healthful workplace.
